Benro FPA49A overview

  • 1Description

Designed to conserve space during storage and transport, the FPA49A ProAngel Aluminum-Alloy #4-Series Tripod from Benro supports up to 30.8 lb and measures 14.0" long when folded. Each of this travel tripod's 5-section legs features an independent spread, a 3-position angle lock, a single half-turn twist lock for speedy deployment, and a rubber foot to enhance stability on a wide variety of surfaces. Among the legs is a push-and-pull, rapid center column with two, telescoping sections and dual twist locks that further contribute to this tripod's compact design. Together, the three legs can be spread and extended to raise the tripod from a minimum height of 10.0" to a maximum height of 50.0" or 60.6" when the center column is fully elevated.

Tripod heads, cameras, lenses, or sport optics that are compatible with a 3/8"-16 mount can be connected to the top of the tripod's center column. For added versatility, the tripod's center column is reversible, facilitating low-angle photography where an attached camera is positioned among the tripod's legs instead of above them.

A nylon carry bag with a zippered closure and shoulder strap is provided for storage and transport.

    Benro FPA49A reviews

    FPA49A ProAngel Aluminum-Alloy #4-Series Tripod is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Tripod (comes with bag) Found this by accident. Folds up decently small and somewhat lightweight. The difference for me is that while it folds small it is a nice size and raises pretty high and feels much more sturdier than my lighter smaller tripods. This is no carbon fiber super light weight set up but it's light enough for me to travel with and still feel confident that it will hold my system securely. I really like the ability to raise the two section center piece to make fine adjustments which are always a haste when adjusting each individual legs with no markings. Another cool feature is you can sort of micro adjust the top section one leg at a time to counter any possible un even surface the legs may be resting on. That works well. Keep in mind that each leg only has one twist at the bottom and one for fine adjustments or added height towards the top. Most have about three twist knobs to do this.
