This optic qualifies as a full-featured lab microscope with its inclined Siedentopf 360° rotating head, color-coded objectives, precision stage and focusing, and a powerful illumination system. This microscope features four color-coded objectives (4x, 10x, 40x, and 100x) and two sets of widefield eyepieces (10x and 20x). Together they can muscle up an optical magnification up to 2000x. The 100x objective ought to be used with immersion oil to ensure a proper resolution and focus of your samples and to protect the objective and your sample from accidental damage. All four objectives are attached to the ball bearing rotating nosepiece, which makes changing magnification an easy and smooth experience. It features a wide base and an arched back that can serve as a carry handle. It also allows you to adjust the working distance and has two coaxial fine/coarse focusing knobs on both sides of the back for ambidextrous use.
