Garyâs answer isnât helpful. I think Morgan is asking if itâs possible to control the pan, tilt, and zoom of the camera from the computer over USB (and if so, how) vs. just being able to receive video from the camera over USB and having to control the camera in some other way. Garyâs link is to a USB 3 extension cable, which does not answer this question.

How long is the USB cable for the VDO360 TeamCam. Will it work if I need a USB extension cord?
The included cable will only be around 6-10 feet. We do have a Pearstone USB 2.0 Type A Male to Type B Male Cable - 25' (7.6 m), B&H # PECUAMUBM25, that you can use as well with this camera if you needed a bit of a longer run.

Is the digital zoom smooth, or is it fixed to specific “steps”? What is the equivalent FOV (in degrees) when zoomed in all the way?
This has a fixed digital zoom. So when zoomed in all of the way, it has a FOV of around 55 degrees.
