I use this as a safety strap between my DSLR and tripod. I also use it as a safety strap between my DSLR and my shoulder strap. I learned the need for such the hard way. Not what this item is intended for but works none the less.
This has been an excellent purchase. I love how I can clip my phone to my belt loop for quick and easy access to identify birds while in the field. It always close at hand and there is no risk of dropping it. I have also found that since I have gotten this and started clipping my phone to my purse, I haven’t lost my phone!
