The DJM 250 mk2 has one XLR master output and one RCA (also master) output. Does this mean that the unit can be connected to a master only (choosing either RCA or XLR), or does it mean that the XLR can be used for the master speakers and the RCA for the booth speakers? Or (again), is "booth" not an option.
Asked by: Christian
Both the XLR and RCA outputs will work at the same time. Ususlly the XLR will feed the house PA system and the RCA would feed the monitors in the booth.

Question: Would I be able to use (A) (WITHOUT A COMPUTER) the DJ tech media players together with the Pioneer mixer, yet being able to use all of the DJ-Tech media players features, and would I be able to use (A) (WITH A COMPUTER) (of course, via Rekordbox) the DJ tech media players together with the Pioneer mixer, without the loss of the media players' function? If so, what would I loose? Please explain in detail, if this is possible. I would much appreciate your efforts.
Asked by: Christian
You could use the DJ-Tech media player functions together with the mixer standalone, without a pc or use of Rekordbox. The DJ-Techs themselves would not be compatible as controllers for Rekordbox.

Grounding. I have an audio technical turntable without a ground. Getting major hum. Can I connect my turntable to this mixer and then ground wire from the mixer to my entertainment receiver to eliminate the hum?
Asked by: ernesto
You could do that, but, if you don't need all of the inputs and features on this mixer, and really just want to connect your turntable to the receiver, this might not be the best solution. Consider a Phono Preamp with a ground. This is a simple solution and easy to set up: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/155434-REG/Rolls_VP29_VP29_Phono_Preamp.html
