Designed for the beginner digital DJ, the Pioneer DJ Starter Pack combines the Pioneer DDJ-RB with a pair of DM-40 active studio monitors, and a pair of HDJ-700 DJ headphones to create a single package with all the equipment needed to get you started.
Designed to work directly with the included rekordbox dj software, the entry level Pioneer DDJ-RB rekordbox dj Performance Controller provides 2 channels of DJ performance control and deep integration with rekordbox dj.
The ergonomic design features 8 velocity-sensitive performance pads on each deck with four modes of operation including Hot Cue, Pad FX, Slicer, and Sampler. The sequence call function allows you to create sample sequences, then select and play them directly on the hardware. The 5" aluminum jog wheels are highly responsive for tactile performances.
The center panel of the Pioneer DDJ-RB includes a 2-channel mixer with an integrated sound card with a 1/4" microphone input, stereo RCA master outputs, and an 1/8" headphone output. Each channel features trim, a 3-band EQ, a HP/LP filter, and level fader. The Pioneer DDJ-RB is USB bus-powered and ships with a rekordbox dj license key and a USB cable.

The DM-40 from Pioneer is a pair of black, active, two-way monitors designed for wide-range music reproduction for DJs, producers, and musicians in mobile setups and personal studios. The class AB amplifiers pump 21W of power through 4” fiberglass woofers and 0.75” soft dome tweeters.
Front-mounted diffusers and bass flex ducts yield an expanded frequency response and a wide sweet spot. Place the monitors on the supplied cushions to minimize unwanted vibrations and resonance from your desk or table.Connect your DJ mixer, stereo system, audio interface, or smartphone to the 3.5mm or RCA input jacks using the included 3.5mm to RCA cable. The front-panel 3.5mm headphone port and dedicated volume control allow you to easily check your mix on headphones.The black and red HDJ-700 from Pioneer are professional DJ headphones designed to accurately reproduce audio with clarity and detail. The headphones utilize 40mm dome-type drivers with rare earth magnets to deliver a frequency range of 5 Hz to 28 kHz. The soft, leather-like polyurethane earpads not only provide hours of comfortable listening, but isolate the sound from external noise, making them well suited for loud club environments.
The headphones are light and comfortable with a 60° rotatable ear-cup design for single-ear monitoring. The rigid stainless steel headband is able to withstand the rigors of on-the-road wear and tear. Two headphone cables are included; a 3.9' coiled cable (9.8' fully extended) and a 3.3' straight cable. The HDJ-700 also ships with a gold-plated 1/4" headphone adapter
