Arecont Vision AV5245 Overview

The light gray MegaBall G2 Series 5MP Network Bell Mount Ball Camera from Arecont Vision features CorridorView function that allows 90° image rotation for improved coverage in hallways and corridors. It uses non-integer scaling down to 128 x 96 and features a built-in SDHC card slot that accepts cards up to 32GB. The camera features a 1/2.5" sensor and 3.3-8.5mm varifocal lens with a 95 to 41° field of view to capture images at a maximum resolution of 2592 x 1944. In addition, it comes with an integrated microphone and a line output.

This day/night camera allows for 24-hour surveillance thanks to a removable IR cut filter and built-in IR LEDs with a range of up to 50'. It can be powered via PoE-compliant network cable or a 12 to 48 VDC/24 VAC power supply.

The AV IP Utility tool allows users to quickly configure multiple cameras at one time. The camera is ONVIF Profile S (Open Network Video Interface Forum) and PSIA (Physical Security Interoperability Alliance) compliant, providing interoperability between network video products regardless of manufacturer.
