After using battery power exclusively I purchased the power adapter to use on the pan head since we couldn't find ours in our church inventory. The moment since plugging it in for the first time the unit no longer powers on, as if it experienced a short. The product doesn't match the image either, which gives me pause that I did just actually purchase an adapter that fried my pan head...

Not much to say about a power adapter ,other than it powers the device its intended for ,without any issues, so i don't have to rely on battery power, which can be costly in the long run ,the idea of changing out batteries on a long shoot , is something no one wants to do , especially if that camera is placed in a spot where no cameraman should have been in the first place, like up front in front of very important guest

The part number suggests this power supply might accept up to 260 volts AC.If so it would be suitable many countries that use 240 volts AC.?
I would think it will work at 240 volts. When it says input 100-240 that usually means that is an international power supply.
