Compatible with the S1, S1a, and Honey Badger and all cameras, the S1 Manual Remote for All Cameras from Interfit has 15 wireless channels to thwart interference from other radio systems and supports 8 distinct groups for control of multiple light setups. Manual Mode
This remote is compatible with all makes and models of cameras (film and digital) in manual mode. (Access to TTL and HSS functions of S1 and S1a require the dedicated TTL remotes)
Remote Power Adjustment
The S1 Manual Remote allows you to control the power output of your S1, S1a, or Honey Badger from the camera position.
15 Channels
Having 15 channels allows you to work in close proximity with other photographers without interfering with each other's light setups. Channels are displayed by numbers 1-15.
8 Control Groups
This feature allows you to control up to 8 groups of lights independently of one another. Groups are displayed by letters, A-H.
320' Wireless Range
The 320' wireless range lets you roam freely around the studio, field, city block, or wherever your work takes you.
Additional Controls
In addition to triggering and manual control, the Interfit S1 Manual Remote allows you to control the modeling lamps and audible beeps on your lights.
AAA Batteries
All S1 remotes are powered by two AAA batteries.
3.5mm Sync Jack
The 3.5mm sync jack on the side of the remote allows you to use your S1, S1a, or Honey Badger lights in conjunction with other radio flash systems. Simply connect your 3rd-party remote to the S1 remote via sync cable to fire all lights together.
AC Power Option
The S1 Manual Remote can be powered by AC power using the micro-USB port on the side of the remote, eliminating the need for replacement batteries and disabling the remote's auto-shut-off functions. This is especially useful for long-term or permanent camera fixtures.

Makes my Nikon D780 compatible

Currently Interfit Nikon automatic remote on a Nikon D780 is NOT compatible with their strobes (many emails back and forth for two years... COVID is the excuse). However, this manual version of the remote will fire my Interfit strobes. So, I mount this on my Nikon D780 and use the automatic remote handheld to adjust the power of the strobes. It is less desirable than Interfit providing a firmware update to the automatic remote, BUT IT WORKS! I still wait patiently for the firmware update and hope it arrives before I retire!

Works great with my Honey Badgers. Only gripe is the buttons is too clicky where you are putting a lot of pressure on the buttons.

Don't Buy This for The Honey Badger Unleashed.

Everything on the product page, including the Q&A, suggested that this manual remote would work with the Honey Badger Unleashed. This is not the case, as after contacting customer support I was informed they are incompatible with the Unleashed strobe. Quite frustrating to deal with, It should be explicitly outlined in the product description that there is an incompatibility.

This is my second Interfit trigger. I already had one for my Nikon DSLR and have been using that one with no problems for the past several years. But now I need some way to trigger my Badger Unleashed strobes with my Leica. This one does the trick. I would have given 5 stars, but the on/off button doesn't work easily. Requires several pushes to turn on or off. (Not the case with the trigger for my Nikon, so I know it's not designed that way.)

Bought this to replace the TTL Nikon remote. This manual remote works with the Nikon Z6ii to trigger Honey Badger Unleashed, but only after a firmware downgrade on the Badgers. According to Interfit's site, these manual remotes were recalled for firmware upgrades, so I must have gotten a recalled remote. Still... it works!! So relieved I can finally use my new lights.

I had to return my badger unleashed because it ONLY works with CAMERA spesific remotes.... this is a MAJOR MAJOR MAJOR problem because INTERFIT DISCONTINUED them at least for Canon so the Badger Unleashed is a PAPERWEIGHT unless you track a USED one down. I cant believe we sell this - it will ONLY work with the regular honey badger.... what a joke of a company.... switching to GODOX!

I would think so I use it with Leica m’s, Panasonic s1, mamiya 7ii blah blah works perfect. I’d say go for it you could always return it. Manual means exactly that it’s not brand specific.

Yes it will, BUT ONLY IN MANUAL MODE. The S1 will not allow for TTL or HSS. If you want full functionality, you will need the appropriate TTL remote for your camera.
