RED DIGITAL CINEMA's THE CLUTCH Shoulder Rig for RED EPIC and SCARLET is an assembly of support accessories that form a highly configurable and adjustable shoulder support shooting rig. The CLUTCH is configured for the EPIC and SCARLET cameras, but optional mounting and riser plates (not included), enable using the CLUTCH with other RED cameras. The RED Quick Release Platform enables the mounting of your RED camera onto an ARRI Dovetail system or the included short Dovetail Mounting Plate. The included Ball & Socket rubber handles mount and provide a secure grip for shooting with the rig. The Top Handle provides an excellent strong and slip-resistant grip when picking up or putting down the camera and rig.
THE CLUTCH includes a shoulder pad and two auxiliary support pads. The shoulder pad provides a cushion that protects your shoulder when the support rig rides on it. The auxiliary pads can be used to provide cushion and support to the front and back of your shoulder. The included DOGBONE A, B, and C brackets enable adjusting the rig to fit your body and shooting style. The included 12" RED 19mm carbon fiber rods support your lens accessories including a matte box and follow focus unit (not included).
This RED DSMC Mounting Plate is for your RED DSMC or DSMC2 camera. The mounting plate attaches to your camera and makes it compatible with any of RED's quick release mounting platforms. The plate has four small feet which provide a solid support to help prevent your camera from tipping over when placed on a flat surface.
The RED DIGITAL CINEMA DOVETAIL MOUNTING PLATE is an ARRI standard dovetail that can be secured to a tripod or other grip gear to create a short platform for smaller tripod heads and rigs. DSMC cameras can use the QUICK RELEASE PLATFORM (DOVETAIL) to slide right onto the dovetail. The dovetail itself is routed out to keep the weight down while 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threaded holes run the length for versatile mounting options.
A DOGBONE is ideal for attaching the ball & socket handle, shoulder pad, auxiliary support pad, and any number of additional accessories. With rosette connectors on both sides of each DOGBONE, any number of DOGBONEs can be combined to create perfect feel, function and balance. Each machined DOGBONE is cored out for weight savings, with a single 1/4-20 for mounting and two 1/4-20 pass-throughs.
As a convenient method for grabbing the camera, the RED Sliding Top Handle has a rubberized grip and a clamp which attaches to the rail guide system, offering 15 mounting points, plus a rosette connection for additional accessory mounting.
Add 19mm studio-spaced rods to your Quick Release Platform with the RED DIGITAL CINEMA DSMC Universal Mount. Two captive 1/4"-20 screws secure the mount to the Quick Release Platform. Two spring-loaded levers let you secure 19mm rods for mounting accessories such as lens supports, matte boxes, and follow focuses that conform to the 19mm studio rod standard. Four 1/4"-20 threaded holes on the top allow for accessories to be added to the Universal Mount. This mount is compatible with the DSMC and DSMC2 systems as well as the RED ONE.
RED's dual sided Rosette mounting bracket mounts to any 1/4-20 thread, such as the DSMC Universal Mount 19mm, allowing the attachment of any two rosette accessories.
RED's Ball & Socket rubber-gripped 180° rotatable handle provides the ultimate flexibility in a user designed configuration.
