Does This Teradek Bond require any kind of monthly or yearly paid Cloud system to receive, bond, and re-transmit the bonded signal out to the CDN I use....? All the other companies that have Bonded systems like this seem to want additional monthly fees on top of the unit sales price. And I don't mean the fees paid to each Cellular Carrier for their Data Modems.
Asked by: Andy
Teradek Bond requires Core. According to Teradek, Core is a complete IP video management ecosystem in the cloud. When you stream over bonded network connections, a server running demuxing software is required to turn the data back into a recognizable format. For Teradek, this is a Sputnik server, which is built into the Core platform. For pricing information > http://bit.ly/2BsUDUs

Does this require a subscription for use, beyond carrier modems from wireless providers? We have contracts in place for mobile carriers but procuring additional subscriptions is often near-impossible for our (and most government) organizations.
Asked by: Phillip
Yes, if you intend on using this with 4G USB Modem you will need a wireless service provider as well.

How does this product compare to Live-U 600 ?
Asked by: Pete D.
Like so many products, which product is better is dependent on how they are going to be used. That being said, both products are very competitive with each other so they are very similar in overall performance and thus both will do a splendid job. However, a final decision depends on your set-up so it depends which one will do a better job. Those details are beyond the scope of this forum. In order that we may further assist you, please write us with your intended set-up. [email protected]
