I've developed Kentmere and Rollei films with this. The results are excellent. Good tonality and plays nice with grain. The universal developing times are spot-on. I've switched from Xtol to this for my go-to developer,

In most applications, I use film developers that have been around a while or I mix one that has been around a long time and is tried and true. Every once in a while a new developer (In this case an old developer picked up by a different company) comes around that often makes shooting certain films easier. Two of the 80 ASA films I shoot with have exactly the same development times when I use this developer, which makes it easier to develop both of these films together. It also gives a smoother look than other developers I have tried for these two films which is good depending on the mood I am in.
