Great Denon sound and build quality. Super easy set up.

Excellent sound and range

This unit does indeed have the 100 foot range when in line of sight with iPad or iPhone. A mini iPod will only have about 30 foot range but that’s because of the whimpy output of that device, not the Denon. The Denon pairs easily and is quite simple to set up. This unit is installed in a large open venue and is ideal for that environment. The sound quality is surprisingly good, better than plugging a mobile device directly into the mixer via the typical headphone jack.

Great bluetooth receiver

This paired easy with my Samsung S8 phone. It has much better sound quality than other bluetooth receivers i have used. It has great range too. My only conplaint is that the holes in the rack ears are too small for #10 screws so I had to drill them bigger to get it mounted in the rack.

Consumer Friendly Interface in a Professional Presentation

We invested in this as a way to interface to the growing number of clients wanting to use their own devices for audio playback. Our main meeting room will seat 450 and this device covers the entire space even when fully occupied. It looks well in it's 19 inch rack box with XLRs to get audio to our console. We've mounted the included external antenna as high up as we can - although initial testing proved this was not necessary.

it doesn't work and came scratched.

It internal scan says it is in working condition and on but doesn't work. These receivers have a remote function- was it turned off and you didn't send me the controls. Also, top and bottom came scratched, which makes it look like someone had it installed somewhere. ill send photos.

Hi! Happy to help! Bluetooth is not typically used for live performance settings due to its inherent latency and lower quality, however the DN-300BR could potentially be utilized for backing tracks with the right arrangement.

Antenna is not specific to this device. You need a 2.4GHz antenna (same as WiFi) to a BNC connector.
