FEISOL MSC-360-3 Overview

This FEISOL MSC-360-3 Three-Section Column is a 30.6" articulating arm that can be connected to a tripod, stand, or other support systems that feature a 3/8"-16 mount. The arm can then be used to hold small cameras, small lights, microphones, or other accessories. Constructed from three 10.2" sections that can be independently moved and locked into place, the MSC-360-3 Three-Section Column enables precise, yet easily adjustable positioning of a mounted accessory.

The FEISOL MSC-360-3 Three-Section Column features its own 3/8"-16 mount along its top that can accommodate a tripod head or device with a 3/8"-16 accessory thread. Constructed from carbon fiber and aluminum alloy, this articulating arm is durable while remaining lightweight.

Light and sturdy. The only thing keeping it from being 5 stars is that it sometimes needs far more extra tightening to keep stuff in place then I would like. Being made of carbon fiber and aluminum it is very light. And you can use two or three arms as needed. The tightening handles are the only plastic bits. But they seem up to the task. The brass bushings are a nice, unexpected touch too. Would recommend it.

The FEISOL Multi Section Column MSC-360-3 is manufactured from carbon fiber and CNC-machined Aluminum, not plastic.

I contacted FEISOL concerning your inquiry. According to the manufacturer, the load capacity of the MSC-360-3 is almost impossible to establish because it depends fully on the set angles of the sections. Generally speaking, these sections are designed to be used with lighter to standard gear (such as light cameras, smartphones, monitors, light grip accessories) - no heavy lenses, etc.

I assume you mean the SONY Handycam, Fabio,; yes it can be used with the Handycam - you just need a ball head or Quick Release Clamp in between (just like with a still camera).
