Keep your camera equipment stable with this set of three Short Spikes and Rubber Feet from Gitzo. Designed for Gitzo equipment, the metal spikes attach to the bottom of your tripod via 3/8" threads and come with a 38mm removable rubber cap. Use the spikes on softer terrain like grass or mud, or attach the rubber caps to avoid sliding on harder surfaces. Additionally, this replaces the G1220.129B3.

    Gitzo GSF38S reviews

Short Spikes and Rubber Feet (38mm, Set of 3) is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Should have been included as the standard accessory I bought these feet for a Gitzo Systematic tripod. The 2016 models does not come with these spike feet with rubber caps. Only the older ones do. Spike feet are almost a necessity when working on soft ground, including indoor carpet. These seem to be an improved design and were unavailable at the time of my tripod purchase. I chose the extra long spikes instead. An inconvenience of the long spikes is that they don't have rubber caps. I assemble and disassemble the feet for the work every time they are needed, as you simply don't want to put the tripod with spike feet on into a bag. The short spike feet with caps solves the problem. The tips of these feet are actually pointier than the extra long feet. That's better for carpet actually. However, if you are in a situation where the ground is thick and soft mud, the extra long spike feet are more useful. The short spikes are just long enough for the tip of the tripod legs to stay above my home carpet. That's still when the tripod is opened to the first angle. They don't work well when the tripod legs are spread further.
