Really Right Stuff RRS-9000093 Overview

Simplify the way you fasten your gear with the PG-CC Cradle Clamp for Gimbal Tripod Heads from Really Right Stuff. Featuring a lever-release design, this product makes it easier and quicker to attach and detach your camera when out in the field. It can also be used as a clamping surface along any Real Right Stuff rail or camera mount. The clamp latches onto the rail through two vertical clamping jaws that tighten with the use of a locking knob.

This cradle clamp is compatible with the Really Right Stuff PG-02 Pano-Gimbal head, requiring for use a PG-VR vertical rail (available separately). It also fits the WH-200 Wimberley Head II, replacing the screw-knob style clamp that comes with that product. Most Arca-type plates are supported by this clamp, except for the Arca-Swiss P0 and Novoflex plates.

  • Accepts all Arca-type plates, except for the Arca-Swiss P0 Slidefix plates and Novoflex-branded plates
  • Can be used to add 90-degree clamping surface along any Really Right Stuff rail or camera bar
  • Lever-release design simplifies the process of attaching and detaching your camera from the tripod
  • Three lever positions for secure and precise mounting of your gear
  • Jaws are laser engraved every 1mm for precise and repeatable alignment
  • Incorporated safety stop relief grooves for greater fore/aft adjustability
  • Rubber-overmolded lock knob makes it easy to adjust the position of the clamp

Best clamp for wimberley wh200

I cannot recommend this enough. I do not like the screw clamp on my wimberley and this has made it a 100 times better and more fun to use. Especially when you need to disconnect quickly for moving around and for quick action when the tripod just isn't usable

This is a terrific improvement to the OEM adjustable screw clamp on my Wimberley. It eliminated that nagging uncertainty setting up and removing my lenses. When the lever is open, I know for certain that I can pop my lens in or out. No more guessing and fumbling around. When the clamp is closed, I am back in business and ready to shoot. The quality is what you expect from RRS. The convenience, efficiency, sure-footedness and pleasure of use make this an elegant, high-quality upgrade.

The RRS quick release clamp is a worthwhile upgrade to the Wimberley WH-200 Gimbal Tripod Head II with Quick Release Base. The fit and finish on the copy I purchased was flawless. Just do it!

The Really Right Stuff PG-CC Cradle Clamp for Gimbal Tripod Head is really made to fit best on the RRS PG-02 and Wimberley WH-200 II heads. On other heads it will not be secure enough for a good fit.

No it does not fit an Oben GH30 carbon fiber gimbal head. I bought this for my GH30c and have to send it back to B&H. The slot on the RRS is too big.

No, the Really Right Stuff PG-CC Cradle Clamp for Gimbal Tripod Heads might hit the part of the Jobu Design DMG-HD4 Heavy Duty Gimbal Head MK IV. The clamp made and comes with the gimbal is much longer.

Really Right Stuff PG-CC Cradle Clamp for Gimbal Tripod Heads is not compatible with Movo Photo GH800 Carbon Fiber Professional Gimbal Tripod Head. The clamps on RRS are 35mm when they are open. Movo GH800 plate is 36mm.
