Not snug enough on the lens. Rotates too easily. Will often come off lens & then I’ll find it on the floor.
So while disembarking from the Last US PT Boat after a lovely fall trip down the Ohio river. I must have lost my Lens hood. I don't worry so much about lens flairs as that I am clumsy and will bump my lens into stuff! A good solid lens hood protects your lens! So next day Ordered this hood. Had it in short order, since I made sure it was the right one for my model lens if fit perfectly and since it is new it holds tight and will be harder to loose. Love having a place that keeps key things in stock.
