Pro Co Sound DA88XF-5 Overview

Originally designed to connect Tascam DA88 digital audio tape recorders to the various mixing consoles available, the Pro Co Sound D-Sub DB25 to 8x XLR Female Analog MultiTrack Cable pinouts are also compatible with Mackie, Otari, Radar, and Pro Tools DB25 in/out protocols.

Amphenol DB25 (D-Sub) connectors on all multitrack products
There are two different thread standards for D-Sub connectors, Metric and English. Pro Co supplies both sets of screws for your convenience.
Individually shielded and jacketed pairs are clearly numbered for easy identification.

For those looking to add an audio breakout cable to their AJA cards/boxes (Io 4k Plus), this is the cable to do it. High-quality construction, good length, cable ends are labeled. Be careful not to get a digital cable that looks the same. the pin-out is different.

The product did not arrive overpacked, which is great. The cable seems sturdy and comes with a nice finish. The shielding seems really appropriate (WAYYY nicer stuff than these other cheap cables). This cable represents IMHO the perfect bargain between cheap cables and overpriced (not to say overhyped) mojo connectics. Great product!
