Will this fit if the Sling CameraLink is on top of the camera, leaving the CameraLink protected?
That really will depend on how you mount CameraLink to the camcorder. If you leaving it standing in an upright position, there may not be enough room. However if you were to have it horizontally positions it may work better. This Elvid Heavy Duty Camera Shoe Mount Adapter with Ball Head for Monitors, B&H # ELSHOEHD, would allow you to angle the CameraLink at 90 degrees.
