This Axler 30" Lightweight Carbon Fiber Camera Slider is a lightweight easy-to-position slider, yet it can support loads up to 18 lb. The large carriage accommodates fluid heads and tripods of various sizes, and it glides smoothly along the 19mm rails. The carriage features four guide rollers that ride along the outside of the rails. Two additional rollers press against the inside of the rails and allow you to adjust the tension of the carriage.

What type of tripod would be best to use this? ...
What type of tripod would be best to use this? The one I have doesn’t have a head that will work.
A tripod without a head would need to have a 3/8 16 male screw to attach to the Axler 30" Lightweight Carbon Fiber Camera Slider. The Benro parts below would work as will the same model with a head.

Is it difficult to get consistent steady flowing slides with this without it being motorized?
Operating a slider manually will take some practice to get down smoothly, but it is very possible with this slider.
