The TA-4-VB is a standard 100mm video bowl that will allow you to use 3rd party fluid heads or leveling bases with your versa series tripod. Machined from 6061 T-6 aircraft grade aluminum and type 2 anodized, the leveling bowl will weather and corrosion resistant.

If you're like me you need(ed) an adapter for a 100mm bowl so you could sit it in a 75mm set of sticks. This item WILL do that for you. Were you hoping for consistent contact from surface area to help reduce shift that comes from weight / pressure? Well good luck with that because the actual product looks nothing like the displayed image. In fact, it's missing about 1/2 the surface area in the bowl which makes the part lighter but you're still going to have a little drift depending on weight, which, if you're putting a 100mm on a 75mm receiver, it's likely you'll be working with a larger rig. For RRS or B&H, the surest way to solve this product's biggest frustration is to update the product photo so buyers know what they're getting. It does its job fine, especially considering the price of a new bowl / head but buyer beware.
