The ikan PT1200 Teleprompter Travel Kit with Rolling Hard Case provides you with a compact teleprompter that features a 20' reading range and a rolling hard case to protect your prompter during transport and storage. The Prompter itself folds flat when being stored and assembles in about one minute. The foam used to protect your teleprompter when shipped fits into the included rolling hard case, providing a custom cut foam interior to a durable hard case that protects your gear during transport and storage. The prompter features a height-adjustable QR baseplate and a lens hood to keep light from flaring the prompter glass and affecting the image. The included monitor features control buttons right on the front and provides easy access to its inputs (HDMI, VGA, Composite BNC). Prompting software (Mac/Win) is included.

question

Can you mount this prompter on a light stand?
Asked by: Anonymous
I would highly recommend against using this Teleprompter on just a light stand. It weighs 10 pounds and its shape will make it difficult to remain stable. A tripod like B&H #DAPVT7518B from Davis & Sanford would be a far more suitable option.

question

Has anyone purchased the SKB 1914-8 Case? Which one is it exactly?
Asked by: Robyn R.
The reusable storage foam that the PT1200 comes with is compatible with the SKB 1914-8 Case. We suggest getting SKB 3I-1914-8B-E, which is the empty version of the case.
