Each light in this kit came with a long cord that ...
Each light in this kit came with a long cord that does not seem to fit anything... It is just a strait power cord (no voltage transformer) and does not fit the lights, the battery charger, or anything else it came with... What is it for?
It turns out that none of the lights in the 3 light kit came with the main Power Supply. Only the cord to connect the power supply to the wall.. We had ordered 2 of these kits, and one came first (and then I posted this an my other question about the lights turning off....) then the day after I posted the 2 questions, the second kit came in and the lights in that kit had the full Power Supply. I was mistakenly using the Power Supply for the Battery Charger, since that was the only PS the first kit came with that would turn on the lights.

What softbox will fit these lights? The Ikan half ...
What softbox will fit these lights? The Ikan half x 1 Presto softbox says it will not fit (it's too small at 12x7.5'") but the Ikan Presto 1x1 looks like it may be too big (12x12').
A compatible softbox option is the Airbox Model 1X1 Softbox, BH # AI1X1.

Are the provided dimensions including barn doors or just the panel?
The size Dimensions reflect the barndoors in the closed position, 14.5 x 11 x 1.75" / 37 x 28 x 4.4 cm.

Hi. Im currently using Rifa lights or beat up Fluorescents, but I need something quicker and with temp control; would an Onyx Half by 1 and 1x1, be sufficient for a typical indoor interview in an office or home? I have other lights to embellish (hair, background) and would like to add a 2x1 in the near future, but for now, I wanted to know if the Onyx lights would do the trick. Thanks so much.
I have two of these and they are great! I wouldn't rely on one as a key light though. I would go for the Onyx 1x1 or something similar. One half x 1 can work as a key if you're not battleing any ambient light or windows. I have used two halfx1's through a silk as a key, but one is just not enough.

Is does come with a removable diffusion filter that also acts as a protector for the LEDs
