Samsung SM-A520F 2017 Overview

Stay connected with the blue 2017 Samsung Galaxy A5 Duos SM-A520F 32GB Smartphone. This smartphone incorporates 3GB of RAM, and is powered by the 1.9 GHz octa-core Exynos 7880 chipset. It has 32GB of storage and features a microSD card slot for expansion. The reversible USB Type-C interface allows you to connect the device for mass-storage purposes and also serves as a rapid charging port.

The Galaxy A5 Duos is endowed with a 1920 x 1080 5.2" AMOLED screen which enables you to view full HD content without pixel loss. For photo capturing and video chatting, this smartphone features 16-megapixel f/1.9 cameras front and rear. The phone's display can flash bright white when using the front-facing camera to help illuminate you in low light.

Bluetooth 4.2 with NFC is built-in for pairing with other Bluetooth-enabled devices, and there's 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac Wi-Fi for high-speed Internet connectivity. GPS is also on-board for using Google Location and Maps services. The Galaxy A5 Duos has a 3000mAh battery that can deliver up to 16 hours of talk time.

GSM / 4G LTE Wireless Connectivity
This phone is designed to work on select GSM networks and is 4G LTE capable. LTE is an advanced cellular network data protocol capable of data speeds so fast that they compete with wired broadband Internet providers. With an LTE connection, this phone should have no problem streaming HD video, downloading apps, uploading photos, or anything else that requires a high-speed data connection. The phone is also backwards compatible with 3G and 2G data for instances when you can't get LTE. In addition to cellular wireless, this phone also features Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity.

International Variant / US Compatible LTE
The SM-A520F is an international variant of the Galaxy A5. The SM-A520F's LTE radio is tuned to frequencies that are most often used in the United States and North America, as well as Europe and elsewhere. To ensure this phone will work with your carrier please check to make sure the frequencies your carrier uses are supported by this phone. Because the SM-A520F is an international variant, the language of the box and the default language of the phone may not be in English. Also, an international AC to USB adapter may be included.
Dual SIM Dual Standby (DSDS)
Dual SIM Dual Standby (DSDS) allows you to lower your mobile costs when traveling while staying connected. Once your SIM cards are installed, you will be able to receive phone calls and text messages from either without needing to manually choose which one is active. When you want to make a call or send an SMS message, you can select the correct SIM card. When one SIM card is being used for a phone call, the other will not be active until you hang up. Operator charges may apply.

With an IP68 certification, The Galaxy A5 Duos is resistant to sweat, rain, liquids, sand and dust. It can be immersed in 4.9' of water for up to 30 minutes.
Always On Display
The Galaxy A5 Duos' 1080p AMOLED screen features Always On Display, which shows your calendar and clock at all times with a minimal effect on battery usage.
Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow
The Android operating system integrates heavily with Google's services. Using the card-based Google Now, Android quickly surfaces information for you whenever you need it, powered by the same Knowledge Engine that runs Google's web search. It's a personalized and customizable OS, allowing you to add your favorite apps or widgets to your homescreen. You can even download new themes using the Google Play Store, which offers access to more than one million apps, games, books, music, movies, and more. Android 6.0 Marshmallow overhauls permissions, allowing you to have finer control over what your applications have access to. It also marks the debut of Now on Tap, a context-sensitive update to Google Now that checks your current screen for keywords and then searches for them automatically. Other performance and security enhancements are included as well.
