It is very easy. You take the rubber hood off by just pulling it off of your hoodman you have and slip the Hoodman HoodLoupe Teardrop Eyecup on.

I just started doing Milky Way photography with my Nikon Z6. I find it a challenge to see if the stars are in focus on the LCD screen. Would this product help? Is there a better alternative? Thanks.

It will if the rear screen on the back is 3.2 inches otherwise they make a 3 inch one for slightly small. this is a muct have product if you are taking photos outside and want to see results immediately on the rear screen of ANY camera.

I have canon 5d4 and 7d2. No problem using this ...
I have canon 5d4 and 7d2. No problem using this for both cameras if hand held?
Works great on both. There is a little less room on the 7d2 body below the LCD, but I don't have any light entering and it seals fine. Until I just looked, I never realized it was different from the 5d4.
