I love the great weight of this keyboard, the keys are easy to work with and satisfyingly fluid, so essentially I am grateful for the fine and reliable quality of it--so much less stressful. Most surprisingly to me, however, I love the clicking--somehow it seems to syncronize and support the way my brain is organizing word formation as well as thought patterns in the making. I never thought much about this last point until I got this keyboard. Now, as a part of my working experience, it has become an essential requirement of mine. So thanks.

There is nothing like the feel of a mechanical keyboard or the sound! Mine is clicky MX Blue, and I love it. I love the feel and the sound of it. They say you can type faster on a mechanical keyboard, and I believe that's true because I tend to make hardly any miss-keys on this keyboard. I'm a touch typist (no looking at the keys), and the tactile feel of the Das Keyboard keys means I don't miss a key. My fingers know where they are on the keyboard at all times. It's hard to explain, but it sure works!

The case and keycaps are plastic but the keyboard overall is built like a brick privy. It's quite heavy and very sturdy.

There is no Mac version of the Das Keyboard Model S Professional Mechanical Keyboard (Cherry MX Brown Switches) with MacOS symbols, however this will be fully compatible with Mac computers.
