Key Features
  • Attach Larger Filter to Smaller Lens
  • Aluminum Ring
  • Flat Black Finish Minimizes Reflections
  • Knurled Sides for Firmer Grip
The 52-67mm Step-Up Ring from Benro is an aluminum-constructed ring that enables you to adapt a larger 67mm size filter onto a 52mm diameter lens, therefore, many different filter sizes can fit on your lens. On wide-angle lenses, the ring's low-profile prevents any vignetting in the image, and the flat black finish on the ring minimizes reflections, which would cause lens flare as well. Additionally, the knurling on the edge allows you to have a firmer grip of the ring when you're putting it on a lens.

Benro Step-Up Ring Reviews

Affordable

Very affordable option that works. There's a noticeable quality and usability difference between this ring and those that I have from b w and polar pro. This ring does not have the same knurling, has more fragile threads, but so far works and costs very little compared to the other two brands. Prioritize accordingly

It's a little thin, but it does have a knurled finish which comes in handy. The secret to these rings is to apply a dry lubricant with a que tip to the threads, which makes them a lot easier to remove. Also, with filters, or anything that screws onto the filter threads on a lens is not to make them tight. If the lens is a variable ND, or polarizer, always make your adjustments by turning it clockwise, GENTLY. That way, you won't inadvertently unscrew it, and drop it into the reservoir, or over a cliff!
