The IP-920 MPEG-4 AVC (H.264) Encoder from For.A is an audio/video codec that utilizes MPEG-4 AVC (H.264) encoding to perform real-time transmission of SDTV and HDTV signals at lower bit rates over an IP network. It employs Fujitsu FEC (Forward Error Correction) and ARQ (Automatic Repeat Request) and Pro-MPEG FEC error correction techniques.
The encoder features a Low Latency mode (<400 ms) with support for optional Ultra-Low Latency mode (<99 ms). In addition, it comes with SD-SDI (SMPTE 259M), HDMI, and NTSC/PAL interfaces. The encoder also comes with a balanced analog audio interface. You can record encoded video and audio data on the recorder via an optional CF card (up to 16GB) and then download it remotely from the network operation center as per your requirements.
