Offering printing and lamination in a single package, the fire red Primacy Lamination Simplex Printer from Evolis uses dye sublimation and thermal transfer processes to produce ID cards with quality and efficiency. It can print and laminate CR-80 cards at speeds of up to 188 cards per hour, and offers a standard 300 x 300 dpi resolution as well as customizable options of 300 x 600 dpi for color printing and 300 x 1200 dpi for monochrome printing.
The printer features a 100-card input tray and a 100-card output hopper, as well as a reject hopper in the front. One of the modules offers single-sided edge-to-edge printing, while the second module is a lamination unit that connects directly to the printer for seamless card production. This version comes equipped with a 2.4" LCD touchscreen that shows error messages and gives you access to detailed information about the printer. It also allows you to change print and network settings, configure cleaning cycles, and manage password protection options. Other features include a Kensington lock slot for optional security, USB-A and USB-B ports, and one Ethernet port for networking.
