The 0.7" diameter Baseball Windscreen and Baseball Windjammer Combo Kit from Rycote includes a Baseball felt-covered windscreen and a Baseball windjammer. The kit is designed to fit over a shotgun or similarly shaped microphone to greatly reduce unwanted noise swooshes during fast swings and other rapid boompole movements. It is lightweight and offers increased performance over conventional foam windscreens.

The Rycote Baseball 19/20 has an adjustable opening with flexible tabs that will fit microphones that have a diameter of 19 to 20mm. It is better to use the metric measurements which are much more accurate than the rounded off imperial measurements as 19mm = 0.75" and 20mm = 0.79".

Thank you for your question. The capsule diameter on the S502 is 22.5mm. This item maybe a bit of a tight fit as the next step up is 24/25MM.

Will this fit the oktava m 012 mic or is it better to go a size down since it is 23mm?
We cannot confirm compatibility for any of the baseball windscreen and windjammer combo kits with your microphone. Oktava does list the diameter of the MK 012 and MC 012 models as 23mm (0.9") and length as 128mm (5"). The Rycote 24/25mm will be too loose and the 21/22mm may not be able to stretch because of the plastic collar on the foam. This item is intended for use with a shotgun microphone while your mic is more of small diaphragm condenser style. If you do want the foam/fur combination, perhaps something like the Auray WSS-2012 Professional Windshield for Shotgun Microphones - 12cm (B&H # AUWSS2012), Movo Photo WS-G120 Furry Rigid Windscreen for Microphones up to 4.7" Long and 18 to 23mm in Diameter (B&H # MOWSG120) or Movo Photo WS-G100 Furry Rigid Windscreen for Microphones up to 3.9" Long and 18 to 23mm in Diameter (B&H # MOWSG100) may be a better option. There are options for the same windscreen in shorter lengths if you want to cover a smaller portion of the mic and you will see a drop-down menu for the available options on the item page.
