The round head of Godox AD100 Pro won't fit the RapiDome with Grid Kit. You may find this item being a better choice https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1635468-REG/angler_godox_v1_fastbox_20.html

Will it work with a remote trigger like a PocketWizard or do you need another mount for the receiver on the light stand?
Asked by: anthony
Depending on the trigger you are using you can put the trigger under the flash or you could use a shoe extension bar like this one to put it beside the flash. https://bhpho.to/2IbcVwN

question

Is it possible to swap the plating on the back of it out for a speed ring? I am not opposed to the idea of using it with a Bowens Mount.
Asked by: Ryan L.
Anything is possible but since the fabric on the plate is fitted without elastic, I would guess that you would have to cut the fabric and the speed ring to replace would have to be about the same size. !!

question

IS it possible to mount a Godox AD200 unit to this?
Asked by: Reichel
I'm just guessing here, but I'm going to guess no. The dimensions of the Godox head (3 x 2 ) will fit in the Rapidome, but it looks like the unit isn't tall enough to get there. The Rapidome is designed for a traditional flash unit fixed to the Rapidome's hot shoe mount in a standard 90-degree position (as you would normally mount it on a camera). That puts the flash head about 3.5 inches above the Rapidome hot shoe mount. It looks like the Godox doesn't have a hot shoe, and can't be raised up to that 3.5 height from whatever bracket to which it's mounted.
