Moto XT1806 overview

  • 1Description

Experience the next generation of dynamic handheld performance with the unlocked Moto G5S Plus XT1806 32GB Smartphone in Blush Gold. The G5S Plus features a metal body and is powered by a 2.0 GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor and 3GB of RAM. It comes equipped with 32GB of storage and includes a microSD slot for additional storage. The integrated micro-USB interface allows you to connect the device for mass-storage purposes and also serves as a charging port.

The Moto G5S Plus is equipped with a 5.5" IPS LCD display with 1920 x 1080 Full HD resolution. For your photo and video needs, the G5S Plus features two 13MP f/2.0 rear-facing cameras for 4K video capture and more. In low-light conditions, color balancing dual-LED flash and auto HDR improve camera performance. A front-facing 8MP wide-angle lens, also with an f/2.0 aperture and LED flash, is built-in as well.

The Moto G5S Plus is well-equipped for wireless communication. It features Bluetooth 4.2 technology for pairing with other Bluetooth-enabled devices, and 802.11a/b/g/n Wi-Fi for high-speed Internet connectivity. GPS with GLONASS is also on-board for using compatible location services and applications. The Moto G5S Plus's 3000mAh battery is designed to provide "All Day" mixed usage on a full charge, and thanks to TurboPower technology, it can provide up to six hours of power from only 15 minutes of charging using the included charger.

Note: The XT1806 is the North American variant of the G5S Plus. It will run on any GSM network that uses cell frequencies supported by the device, including AT&T and T-Mobile. It will also work with certain CDMA carriers, such as Verizon and Sprint. Current Verizon SIM cards can be transferred to the new device, though the carrier may limit the purchase of new SIM cards for unlocked phones. Since this device is unlocked, functionality for certain carrier-specific features cannot be guaranteed. Please confirm with your carrier that it supports the XT1806 Moto G5S Plus before purchasing.

Moto XT1806 reviews

G5S Plus XT1806 32GB Smartphone (Unlocked, Blush Gold) is rated 4.2 out of 5 by 170.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Product Failed Within 1 week I bought this product and within one week the processor went spastic. The phone would cycle between on and off for half an hour before turning off. When I was finally able to start the device, the phone would freeze randomly. I tried to factory reset the device but that made it worse and it wouldn't turn on at all. For the first week the phone was very sharp and responsive - I would have loved to use this device, if it hadn't failed so quickly. I assume I got a lemon somehow, as the company would not be able to stay in business if all of their products failed in this spectacular manner. I bought the G6 to replace it and I hope it works better.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great phone, horribly slow updates. Overall I'm pleased with the phone. Keeps up with everyday tasks well enough and the camera is great for the price. The gestures on the home button are also great. Really my only two complaints are the lack of a notification light and the SLOW updates. Mototola made an announcement almost a year ago now that we would be getting android Oreo. It's still on 7.0. Meanwhile Android 9.0 will be released in the coming months. I get that testing takes time but this is ridiculous. Unless Motorola can get back to their glory days where updates came quickly, I will not be buying another phone from them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I have recommended this phone to others already! Maybe this is because my other phone was so outdated, but I really have taken to this phone. It has a ton more storage space. The picture is bright and crisp. Photos look amazing and camera is easy to use. Very slim design. The only problem is it is a bigger phone so need to remember bigger pockets. I just bought a protected cover and screen glass to bright and shiny longer! It takes some time to figure out the uses. I'm not too interested in tech. I want a phone to make calls, take pictures, give me directions while driving and text. Web searching is a bonus, not a must for me. So I'm back to Moto after HTC and I'm happy again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really nice This phone works well and is nice to use with an overall great feel. Long battery life good display and a good overall size. It doesn't have a notification light, or NFC, which are really the only possible downsides for some people I'm finding, but given the quality of phone your getting for the cost it's well worth it and i would even say holds its own against the top tier phones. Assuming this phone will last a while for me without any major issues it's definitely five stars and I would recommend it for anyone that needs a good phone and is on a budget

Rated 4 out of 5 by from pretty good for a budget phone I am happy with the build and performance of this phone, so far. The Moto G line is good for people who don't need all the fancy features, but still want a good phone that will last and get things done. This phone physically feels much more high quality than the moto g3 (all metal back rather than a flimsy plastic backing). My only complaint is that it's rather large (I could handle the g3 easily with one hand, this sometimes feels like a stretch). Also, the metal casing which gives it its sturdiness makes the phone slippery as a stick of butter. Should probably get a skin for this before I drop it on the concrete.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Everything I need! +Battery = fantastic! Had for a few months now. I don't do reviews right away -- like to live with them a bit first. I can't think of much the phone won't do except I can't figure out how to override pics anti zoom like my old Samsung, but this phone is SO much better in every other way! The battery life is phenomenal, the screen is very crisp and the camera takes some surprisingly good pictures. I don't just recommend it -- I HIGHLY recommend it. I'm a picky person, but not much to pick at here especially considering the price!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from More than I expected I've had the g5+, 4/64 GB for several months and I'm still somewhat amazed at the overall performance. Fast, easy, customizable, and tough. With 170 apps installed and some of them Big, somehow it keeps 1 gigabyte or more of RAM free. The camera delivers good enough for me, photos through a telescope came out better than I expected. Can't complain about the battery, lasts most of the day with fairly heavy use. Streaming from Netflix is no problem. Looked at the G6 for a second phone, not sure that I like what is available now. I know what the G5+ can do, I'll stay with it.
