Nebula FPNE4300AX overview

  • 1Description

Capture smooth, steady footage using the Nebula 4300 Gyroscope Stabilizer, designed to absorb both horizontal and vertical bounces as you walk and shoot with your camera. Featuring a load capacity of 7.1 lb, this 5-axis stabilization system can be used with a wide range of mirrorless and DSLR cameras including Canon, Nikon, Panasonic GH series, and Sony Alpha series models. The Nebula 4300 comes with both a 5-axis dual handle and a single handle, which can be interchanged to accommodate the shooting situation at hand and the working mode of your choice. The four working modes of the Nebula 4300 are 5-axis double-handheld eye-level mode, 5-axis double-handheld waist-level mode, 3-axis single-handheld normal mode, and 3-axis single-handheld hang mode.

The gimbal stabilizer features a built-in 4096-grade encoder preconfigured with default parameters. These parameters can be adjusted and optimized via an iOS mobile device or a Windows/Mac computer using the assistant app (available for download). The stabilizer connects to iOS devices via Bluetooth, and to computers via micro-USB (cable available separately). Auto face tracking and time-lapse functions are available via the app.

Featuring a hidden cable design, the Nebula 4300 allows for 360° unlimited rotation on all three axes. The camera's position can be instantly adjusted as needed while shooting. The stabilizer features a tactical cage that allows you to quickly remove the camera and mount it on a tripod. It runs on a rechargeable battery (included), which yields 8 to 10 hours of runtime. Also included are a charger and a quick release plate.

    Nebula FPNE4300AX reviews

4300 5-Axis Gyroscope Stabilizer with Built-In Encoder is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very reliable I have been using the Nebula 4300 for about 3 months now and I am very satisfied with it. the product is light weight and has a compact box that makes it very easy to carry and setup almost everywhere. the balancing of camera with this model is very easy and fast and changing between different modes of setting up the gimbal is really fast thanks to its design. Nebula 4300 has worked very well in action and delivered smooth and steady pictures in various situations. also the key to change between different modes comes very handy in action.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It works, but... I got this because its description read well. And it does work like described, though it took an inordinate amount of time setting up and understanding. The enclosed directions remind me of reading asian translated tech manuals from the 1990s, and further, it is so small that reading glasses plus magnifying glasses are useful and needed. (I do need glasses for distance and reading, but the 3 point font was tough). There are QR links to videos but these too were confusing, as at least one was for another model and did readily relate to the 4300. Balancing the camera was very difficult and frustrating. Just holding the gimbal and trying to get a camera mounted is a multi handed job. I resorted to clamps to hold the gimbal. My Nikon D850 with added vertical grip would not balance. So I removed it. Then the balance point pretty much obstructs the entire viewing screen on the back. There is not way a long lens would work on this at all. The plate to mount the camera will not fully tighten and does twist easily even when tightened by a properly sized screwdriver. Forget the coin tightening approach. It does not work. There seems to be another model with an angled bit that opens up the screen. I wish I had gotten this model instead. The needed app for set up was also not explained all that well either though here the videos did provide better help. The functions work well once set up, except for seeing the entire display on the back of the camera body. Very stable and adaptable to various styles, or profiles, of use. Overall, it is not a waste of money, but I sure wish it had purchased the model with the angled bit that allows viewing the camera display.
