Vivitar Tripod Dolly Reviews

Good design, bad execution

I wanted to like this so badly. Alas. The leg extension locks don’t “lock”. They allow just enough wiggle room for it to collapse the wheel to where it won’t turn freely, rendering it useless for what it was designed.

This unit is not very good. The arms twist a few degrees in each direction making it difficult to move the dolly. Also the arm clamps are made of plastic, which in time will be problematic to hold the arms at a specific length. B&H took the dolly back and I purchased another brand from them. The new Davis and Sanford dolly works just fine.
