Vinten heads come with very low bowl clamps, and that's fine if you have a wide opening to work with. But the Flowtech 75 is a narrow opening, and that makes it difficult to adjust the short Vinten clamps. This one is designed specifically for use with these legs, so it's the perfect fit, offering more to grab when you reach for it. And, it's still short enough that it doesn't hit the ground when the legs are lowered to their lowest point.
