    Lilliput A7S reviews

A7S 7" Full HD Monitor with 4K Support is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 19.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from it's fine for it's cost it's fine for it's cost, but seems like an engineer designed it and not an actual user. In order for you to power it via usb it requires a round connecter not a standard usb power cord. Does not come with a micro hdmi cord (ironically due to it's name leads one to think it was made for a7 cameras). Personally I would rather have the ports on the bottom so not to need a 90degree connection. A red casing??? trying to look at color don't need the distraction. And the casing at times gets in the way - but I do like the idea of the added protection. If this was a 5" monitor I feel it would of been much better for my style of use. While it has missed design points I would buy it again due to it's lower price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Unbelievable bang for the hard earned buck! I have nothing bad to say about this monitor. For the price, it's truly amazing what it does and how well the image looks. This is such a good monitor. I thought I would never buy Lilliput again, but for this price, I took a chance and I'm glad I did. If you need to see what you're shooting while using a gimble or on sticks, this is the monitor. It's super lightweight, I use a P-tap to V-mount so it's even lighter. Hope this monitor makes others think about being more competitive with their prices. I'm buying a couple more soon.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Image, Light This monitor is light and comes with a good set of features for the price. The image is clear and the screen is bright. The "12V-DC In" can take voltages varying from 7-24V and is not only for 12V. This means it can be powered by FPV goggle batteries like Fatshark and Eachine. This negates the requirement of expensive F970 batteries and maintains the portability of the monitor. I would have liked it if the sunshade could be attached to the monitor without the red case, but it's not too much of an issue. The mount it comes with can have the cold shoe unscrewed and replaced with the included grub screw, making it easy to mount on camera cages with a 1/4"-20 screw hole. Since my camera uses a micro HDMI out port, it would have been nice to have the option to select that instead of having to purchase one separately. The menu on the monitor is easy to navigate and has plenty of options to choose from. I'd definitely recommend this product over the Aputure one that is $10 less expensive as it has more features and in my opinion, a better screen.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent for the $$ I have a $1400 Inferno monitor that I use on my big camera, but I wanted another monitor that could do decent things. This monitor does exactly what I need it to do. Focus Peaking, Zebras, False color, safety lines, aspects with blackout and 4k Support (so far I've tested 1DX2 and 5D4). I'm glad that I picked it up. A couple of things that I modified, I swapped the ball head to a lighter and stronger head (sony) and I also cut out the silicone around the 1/4-20 holds so the ball heads and accessories mount flush to the monitor for better stability. Well worth the $$ for sure. So far I've only test it indoors, but I imagine it will work great outdoors as well with the included hood and decent brightness of the monitor.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great bang for the buck I use several Atomos Ninja Flames for my A7 series cameras, and recently discovered this as didn't want to spend another $800 on a monitor. Of course it is not the same as the more expensive monitors in trmw of features, but if you are looking for a clear, sharp image for focusing and histogram, this will do very well and is hard to beat for the price. I've also used the Ikan monitors and this is even better value.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great monitor at a reasonable price! So far it seems like a solid purchase. The protective mold on the outside of the monitor is nice and adds some grip to it. The image quality and the viewing angles are what made me want to buy it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent Monitor For The Price At first I thought I got a defective unit because it had no grid lines and had to reset it in the menu; but afterwards it seemed to work flawlessly. Excellent, Clear Quality
