The Sony Filter Adapter Kit for RX0 Camera includes a 30.5mm filter adapter, a multi-coated protective filter, and a lens hood. These components reduce the amount of undesired light entering the RX0 Camera's lens.

You might consider leaving the MC filter (UV filter) attached to your RX0 camera at all times, as it both protects the camera's lens from scratches while reducing ultraviolet light. The lens hood helps eliminate unwanted reflections and glare, and the filter adapter lets you attach 30.5mm filters to achieve various effects.

Filter Adapter Kit for RX0 Camera is rated 3.5 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from If you want to control RX0 shutter speed, this is essential I’ve awarded this four stars, not because it is a brilliant piece of kit, but because it is essential if you want to control shutter speed, especially important for video. Let’s take 4K recording (which requires an external recorder) as an example. The camera is fixed f/4 and the minimum ISO for 4K, as with the RX100 V, is 1600. In bright sunlight, this will give an aperture of f/64 to f/90. If you shoot S-Log 2, which has the benefit that you can over-expose it by 1.5 - 2.5 stops, this still leaves the need for a neutral density filter reducing exposure by about six stops. There are very few companies making 30.5mm neutral density filters. I purchased B+W filters (neutral density and a polarizer). These are expensive, but the alternative (a step-up ring plus a stepped up lens shield) proved very difficult to acquire. Heliopan offers this solution, but I spoke with them and they confirm B&H’s wait time of about six weeks. The RX0 has no problem with vignetting with the B+W filters, including stacking two of them, but stacking does cause an issue with the lens hood, which may require application of a bit of gaffer tape when filters are stacked.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Pain to use. The adapter plate replaces the original weatherproof front by the use of 4 special screws. The kit comes with an additional set, but I'm sure these are bound to get lost along with the special tool instead of Sony just using generic hex screws. The lens hood screws onto a limited choice of 30.5mm filters and provides very little room to adjust the filter behind, say a circular polarizer or an variable nd filter if someone ever makes one in this size.
