GoPro Shorty Reviews

Great size and build quality

Small size is easy to pack into any case. Extension is great albeit a bit short. Thumbscrew is easily replaceable.

Small accessory for any GoPro camera.

The mini tripod has a couple of smart features that I really like. First and foremost it fits easily into a front pocket. The tripod legs are reasonably stable and the telescoping handle works well with or without the legs being extended. All plastic construction, but that keeps it light enough that you don't mind carrying it. You could work hard and break the plastic, but it would be through trying to do so.

The GoPro Shorty makes walking around filming so easy. Plus it becomes a tri-pod and a short selfie stick. Awesome. Awesome. Awesome. Awesome.

This is a really fun and nice accessory for your GoPro, it even acts as a mini tripod. Love it!

Suitable construction, but WAY overpriced

The GoPro Shorty is built well enough and will be useful, but it is WAY overpriced for what you receive. I recommend going with a less expensive off-brand version and saving yourself some money. I'm not happy with this purchase, but nothing is really wrong with it beyond the price.

Very useful and works with media mod

I use this for my YouTube channel and have found it very useful, whether holding in my hand or as a mini tripod. I use it with the media mod. When I ordered the Shorty I was concerned the screw wouldn't fit with the media mod (as this issue has arisen with other mounts). But I was relieved that it works just fine.
