GoPro Shorty Reviews

Could be better

Cheap plastic feel, light-weight and slippery. Used during a concert and it's so light weight as a tripod, with no tact on the bottom, the bass nearly floated the camera off a table. I put gaff strips for a better grip, but this thing just isn't worth the money. Seems like most of the cost goes to the consistently over-the-top GoPro packaging. Now looking for a better handle...

I was at first reluctant to buy this item, but I'm gladly surprised to see how nice it is. Simple but robust, cool design, easy to handle, recommended!

Small size is easy to pack into any case. Extension is great albeit a bit short. Thumbscrew is easily replaceable.

This is a really fun and nice accessory for your GoPro, it even acts as a mini tripod. Love it!

Suitable construction, but WAY overpriced

The GoPro Shorty is built well enough and will be useful, but it is WAY overpriced for what you receive. I recommend going with a less expensive off-brand version and saving yourself some money. I'm not happy with this purchase, but nothing is really wrong with it beyond the price.

It does what I bought it for

It does exactly what I thought it would. Not much of a review here but it works the way I thought it would.

Good tool for the bag

The Shorty is really essential for getting quick hand held pans or tilts with the GoPro. Plus it is also a tripod. So it's a very well designed tool that is very useful. If I'm not using a car mount. I can just hand hold the Shorty, point it out the car window, and get great footage.
