Michael, I believe you are asking if it is works with USB 3.0, which it does not as Kiril K pointed out, it is a USB-C adapter and your 2015 iMac does have a USB-C port.

How is bus power handled with the hub? Can either or both USB3 ports simultaneously support portable drives which can only run on bus power?
Sorry about the late response. Yes, Ive had a portable hard drive connected to it and it was powered fine. I havent tried more than one plus the HDMI. Ill post it when I have problems but so far so good.

Will this work with the Google Pixel 2 XL?
We have not tested in this capacity, but I would imagine it would for the SDXC Card Reader, but the Pixel 2 XL does not support video out, so the HDMI will not work.
