Eventide Tverb Overview

The Eventide Tverb is a multi-mic gated reverb plug-in designed to provide classic and dynamic reverb sounds for vocalists, musicians, producers, and mix engineers in mobile-mixing setups, project studios, and commercial facilities. It was modeled on the Meistersaal (at Hansa Tonstudios in Berlin) and developed with Tony Visconti to recreate the David Bowie "Heroes" vocal effect. It imposes a low-CPU load and features all controls in a single window for fast parameter access.

The virtual room contains three virtual microphones, two of which can be positioned anywhere in it. Customizable compression (for the first mic) and gating (for the second and third mics) enable dynamically-diverse reverb configurations. Overall 2-band equalization, decay time, and diffusion deliver simple control over traditional reverb parameters. Each virtual microphone offers controls for volume, polarity, pan, solo, and mute. Comprehensive metering allows you to see gain reduction and input and output levels at a glance.

The Tverb supports AAX Native, Audio Units, and VST plug-in formats and is compatible with Mac OS X and Windows.
