Tenba Transport Air 2520 Overview

Photographers wishing to up their travel game will appreciate the black Transport Air Case Attache 2520 from Tenba. The case has a zippered, spacious main compartment with touch-fastening dividers for storing and organizing 2 DSLRs, up to 8 lenses, flash, and related accessories. Under the lid is a clear-mesh, zip pocket for cables, cards, batteries, and more. The lid is tethered for easy access to gear.

Carry the case with the three soft-rubber grip handles, or piggyback on your rolling luggage with the rear trolley strap. Knowing how hard life can be on a photographer's gear, Tenba has designed the case to withstand a stacked load of up to 400 pounds. The front of the case has a clear I.D. window for your business card. Strength and durability are ensured by the 1680D ballistic nylon construction, YKK zippers, welded steel D-rings, ABS molded rim, air-channeled polypropylene walls, high-density EVA foam, and more.

Had some issues

This is my second purchase of this case and while I still have been very happy with it, there had been some issues. Over time the stitching on the main handle gave way and ripped off. Also the fabric pieces that keep the lid open tend to get caught in the zippers unless you are very careful to push them inside when closing the lid. Also one of the zipper handles broke off. I have put this case through a very lot of work and there are not many options for a soft sided airline case except Lightware which is not as easily available and quite expensive.

The photo on the BH listing for the 2520 is actually of the smaller size. But the actual 2520 is amazing and spacious. Very light weight compared to a hard plastic case and just as strong. I fly with this case and it tends to hold up actually BETTER than a hard case. The dividers inside are very high quality and easy to change based on any shape and configuration you need. It holds DSLRs with grips upright which is important to me. Most lenses except for the 70-200 can sit upright as well which leaves plenty of room for gear.
