Wi Digital Wi Pro AudioMatrix X8 Overview

The Wi Digital Wi Pro AudioMatrix X8 is a portable 2.4 GHz stereo digital multicast wireless audio system designed to provide high-quality, long-range signal transmission and out-of-the-box functionality for presenters, musicians, and sound engineers in office buildings, conference spaces, outdoor events, and multi-floor venues. It transmits uncompressed 16-bit/48 kHz signal with low 2 to 4 ms latency up to 750 feet. Automatic pairing and linking ensure that the configuration is free of frustration and hassle.

The system includes one transmitter and two receivers; a single transmitter can multicast to as many as 50 receivers. The supplied 800mW, 8 dBi powered omnidirectional antenna can be mounted on the transmitter or receiver. Each transmitter and receiver features an internal 8-hour rechargeable battery and can be powered and charged via USB connection or an AC adapter.

The Wi Pro AudioMatrix X8 ships with passive antennas, tripod stands, mounting brackets, audio cables, USB cables and power adapters, and a carrying case.

System Overview
The Wi Pro AudioMatrix X8 enables users to create a long-range digital wireless audio distribution matrix, which transmits uncompressed 16-bit, 48 kHz signal with a wide frequency response over the 2.4 GHz frequency band. One transmitter can feed up to 50 stereo digital wireless receivers without the need to route cables to speakers or run cables from one location to another. One transmitter and two receivers are supplied.
Signal Booster
The included Wi-SB800 Signal Booster is an 800mW, 8 dBi powered omnidirectional antenna designed to boost and significantly extend the signal range, strength, and performance of the system over longer distances. It can be mounted to the transmitter or receiver to send and receive signals in all directions to overcome potential wireless interference and setup challenges.
Expansion Capability
Mitigate the wireless coverage range and setup challenges such as going around structural barriers by implementing a relay configuration to shape, mold, extend, or even double the wireless distance coverage. This can be done daisy-chaining multiple units.
Easy Setup
Offering plug-and-play functionality, the system features Wi Digital's Seek-and-Link algorithms, which enable receivers to search for audio stream acquisition and automatically link to the transmitter. By negating the need for manual pairing, setup time is significantly decreased.
Multiple Power Options
An internal rechargeable battery allows up to 8 hours of operating time. Add a USB AA battery adapter or lithium-ion battery bank for extended use. The units can be changed and powered via USB power or an AC power adapter.
Accessories Included
In addition to the one transmitter, two receivers, and 8 dBi powered antenna, the system includes passive antennas, tripod stands, mounting brackets, audio cables, USB cables and power adapters, and a carrying case. It is designed for out-of-the box functionality and is ready for immediate use.

I need a single transmitter that can xmit two individual channels to L & R stereo spkrs. I do NOT want a mono signal going to each spkr. These are Dolby ATMOS HT effects sprks and require discrete signals. So, believe it requires dual wireless xmit freqs? Not exactly sure what the technical solution looks like, will the Wi Digital WI-AMP50X8 fulfill this rqmt?

The Wi Digital system: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1361205-REG/wi_digital_wi_amp50x8_wi_pro_audiomatrix_x8.html/specs is stereo to each speaker. This system will send separate left and right signals to individual receivers, one to each speaker. https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1247921-REG/alto_stealth_wireless_system_kit.html

question

One transmitter to 50 receivers simultaneously according to the specs. With multiple speakers (maybe 8-16) spread out across a fair distance will result in latency issues. Is there a way to tweak individual latency/delay to each speaker/receiver?
Asked by: j 2.
The Wi Digital X8 does not offer delay compensation. If the application demands it, a delay unit should be connected to the receiver(s) before being inputted to the speaker.

No. But you can do what you are describing from your audio source or mixer, to the transmitter using XLR signal cable to the transmitter.
