Defective out of the box. The aperture ring is crazy loose. It will be very easy to bump it and change the aperture.

new out of box this thing is loose as a goose with 10 of my Nikon and/or Sigma Nikon Mount lenses.� As much as 3/16 inch movement at lens front w/ a 70-200 2.8, is way too loose.� Curiously, a Tamron 15-30 2.8 will not even try to mount and a Sigma 17-50 2.8 will not turn in at all in spite of 3 other Sigmas mounting quite easily.� Crazy. � Sending it back, Black Magic Designs support ( you will spend hours on hold so charge the battery� in your phone) has opened a support ticket from which I have heard back zero in 4 days.� The included EF mount is just as good as the ones in my stills cameras so???

The URSA Mini Pro F Mount works with Nikon AI, AF, AF-S and AF-D ‘D type’ and ‘G type’ lenses. ED refers to a glass coating and nothing to do with the mount.

No. It does not support electronic only aperture.

Will this work with Nikkor AI-S lenses?
Our understanding since the AI-S lenses are all manual and this adapter is all manual, we see no issue. The trick this adapter does is set the electronic apertures on the newer Nikkors AF-S and AF-G lenses.

No, this is a mechanical mount so it does not offer electronic focus or iris control.

Does this adapter also work on the Ursa Mini 4.6K not just the Ursa Mini Pro?
Shins come with each adapter. I ordered the extra shims, and found out later I really didnt need them because all necessary shims were included with each adapter. When I got the camera, the EF adapter was included with the shims already in the camera. Instructions with each adapter tell which shows to use. Hope this helps.
