This is the only Blackmagic Design mic mount for URSA cameras. Blackmagic usually does a great job with the design aspect of their products, but this just doesn't seem nearly as well designed or integrated with the camera body. Depending on your setup, I'd probably look at getting some sort of Small Rig cage and using a mic mount from them instead of this.

Where all can this mic holder mount besides the ...
Where all can this mic holder mount besides the top handle (which would be in the way of my hand)? Too bad there are no mounting holes on the available viewfinder; ENG cameras have been having the shotgun mics mounted there on the right to get them out of the way for the shooter.
I bought the Small Rig side plate and mounted the mic holder on there. Would definitely recommend it.
