Designed for running and extreme sports where brightness and weight are equally important, the HS2 Rechargeable Headlamp from Olight features a top output of 400 lumens, dedicated narrow-beam and wide-beam LEDs, and runtimes up to 18 hours – all in a unit weighing just 4.1 ounces.
The HS2's 2000mAh lithium-ion polymer battery provides up to 18 hours of runtime, and the low battery indicator will warn you audibly when you're down to 10 percent power and it's time to recharge. (You can also run it from an external power source with a micro-USB cable if need be.) When turned on/off or when changing modes, the brightness will change gradually to prevent eye strain. For added safety, the elastic strap has reflective markings on the sides.
