Got it for my GH5 and works very well, used the extra D-Tap for my monitor which has no issues too. Depending on how heavy the battery is, you need to screw it to the rods very tightly (if you want the battery in an upright position) so I'm not sure how durable it is.

Build is not bad - my main concert was the security of the V-lock battery and it locks solidly onto the plate. The camera dummy battery fits well into the GH5S body nicely and I've no problems with non-compatibility, there is also a D tap. For the money, it's not bad, however, I don't think the cable connecting the dummy battery could take any abuse whatsoever.

Does this convert the voltage so that the GH5 does not display a low battery warning?

By using this unit there will be no low battery warning display on the camera until the vmount battery is drained
