Waves REDD - Channel Strip Plug-In (Native/SoundGrid, Download)

Available for download, the Waves REDD is a channel strip plug-in based on the classic REDD.17, REDD.37, and REDD.51 consoles. It is not an exaggeration to say that these consoles helped shape the sound of records from the Beatles, Pink Floyd, and many others. The REDD consoles were custom-designed, built by, and named after Abbey Road Studios' in-house Record Engineering Development Department. Since their inception, they have been renowned for their smooth EQ curves, warmth, and stereo imagery.

Developed in association with Waves and Abbey Road Studios, each channel strip has in-line high and low tone controls to shape the overall tone, as well as a bass lift and a drive control. You can use the REDD on all your tracks to emulate the sound of a large-format console, or conversely, on specific tracks to lend a little warmth and cut where needed. The plug-in includes both Native and SoundGrid licenses.
