The Pocket Cannon Tungsten Focusable LED Fresnel Kit with V-Mount / NP-F Battery Plates was put together by Intellytech to offer image-makers a small, lightweight LED lighting solution with AC and battery power options that make it ideal for location work. The kit contains a Pocket Cannon Fresnel with barndoors, AC adapter, Controller and a hard molded carrying case that fits the light and all the accessories. The light has a V-Mount battery plate with an NP-F adapter to offer battery power options for locations where mains current is unavailable.
The Light Cannon is a focusable LED Fresnel with a 3200K color temperature and a high CRI/TLCI rating of 97+, indicating an accurate rendering of color. The light comes with a glass lens that allows it to adjust the beam angle from 60 to 160-degree flood for wide coverage, while removing the lens allows a spot range of 20-50 degrees for selective lighting. The light output can be dimmed and further controlled with the included removable barndoors. Like all LEDs, the Pocket Cannon produces negligible heat. The rugged aluminum body's heat sink allows it to run dead silent - a valuable asset for sound-sensitive situations. LEDs are also known for power efficiency and the Pocket Cannon consumes just 30 watts of power while outputting the tungsten equivalent of a 400-500W traditional fixture.
Besides its many attributes, the versatile Pocket Cannon offers multiple power options. Its 100-240 VAC adapter makes it ready for worldwide use but it can also run on batteries when mains current is unavailable.
