Designed for computers, wireless networking devices, gaming consoles, security systems, and other electronics, the Back-UPS BN450M from APC not only provides power to your critical electronics when the power goes out, but also offers surge, spike, and lighting protection for attached devices. It offers six total NEMA 5-15R outlets, two of which are surge-only outlets and four of which are battery backup & surge outlets, with three of the outlets featuring block spacing to allow bulky transformers to be plugged in without covering other outlets.

Will it tell my computer to shutdown gracefully when the battery is low?
Thank you for taking time to provide feedback about our BN450M unit. The BN450M does not have data port necessary to communicate with software to be able to shutdown your computer

The Runtime on battery varies depending on Power load. Om a full power load you would be able to get an estimated 2.5minutes on a full load you can get estimated 10.5 minutes

Can you prevent this from beeping when the power is out? I want to put it in my crawlspave where my FIOS ONT is, so having it beep there would be annoying
Yes, there is a long press option on the power button that allows you to set the alarm mode. Check the user guide for the 3 different alarm modes.

The battery is not "user replaceable" but it take standard DJW12-5.0T ;)
