NewBlueFX Essentials 5 Ultimate is a collection of four applications for fixing common video issues and enhancing images. It features 27 plug-ins and hundreds of presets across Essentials Volumes 1, 2, and 3, and a separate Stabilizer plug-in. New plug-ins include Shadows and Highlights, Touch Up, Color EQ, Dual Booster, and Steadicam Emulation Function.
Essentials 5 Ultimate can be used as a plug-in in compatible editing applications (see below) on Mac and Windows, or integrated into NewBlueFX Titler Pro (the standalone and plug-in versions).

For example, Video Tuneup Plus allows you to fine-tune your video's mood with color and luminance controls to find the right mood, Lens Correction lets you fix lens distortion caused by wide-angle lenses, and Selective Focus enables you softly blur surroundings of a subject.

The NewBlueFX Stabilizer (Download) plug-in works with your NLE system to quickly add powerful image stabilization to your handheld footage. No tracking points are necessary, enabling you to stabilize footage lacking a stationary point within the frame. A Steadicam-emulation feature offers the look of popular gimbal shots without springing for the equipment.
This Stabilizer plug-in works with a wide array of 64-bit Mac and Windows-based NLE systems. The Stabilizer's controls enable you to fine-tune the level of stabilization, strength, and motion control applied. Compatible programs includes After Effects, Avid Media Composer, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, Grass Valley, Magix, NewBlue Titler 2+, and Premiere.
